WARRANTY:

Made Made does not provide a warranty of any kind for any of its products. This is as our products are all handmade by artisans who create beautiful and natural finishes but also create slight variations, flaws or imperfections due to their handmade nature and also the nature of the materials used.

We love the ‘flaws’ of our products as it makes each item completely unique.

 

PRICES, GST and TAXES:

Made Made displays all prices on our website in Australian Dollars, inclusive of GST where applicable. When placing an order on our website you agree to pay the stated price and any applicable shipping and handling charges in AUD for all orders.

Made Made reserves the right to change the prices of our goods at any time without notice.

 

REPAIRS, REFUND, EXCHANGES:

At Made Made we pride ourselves in creating new products with a team of artisans that are growing as we grow. We always aim to give our customers the best possible quality of products. In the rare situation that you have received a faulty item please email us at hello@mademade.com.au with photos and a full description of the fault so that we can assess and arrange an exchange or store credit for your item.

We do not provide refunds for change-of-mind items however we are happy to provide a store credit or exchange at our discretion if you are not happy with your item. You must contact us within 3 days of receiving your order to be considered for this and will be in charge of covering any shipping or transport costs. For this reason please open your packages and check them as soon as you receive them.

Due to the nature of these unique items and the limited stock of our collections, we cannot guarantee that your preferred exchange item will be in stock – in this case, we will offer you a store credit to the value of that item.

Made Made will provide refunds only according to the Australian Consumer Laws (if an item is faulty, wrongly described or doesn’t do what it is supposed to do). In this instance, you are able to choose between a refund, store credit or exchange. If we believe you are entitled to a refund, you will receive this by the same method in which you paid for your product.

 

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW:

If there is a major problem with your product, a refund, replacement or exchange may be available as listed above.

If you have a minor problem with your goods we may repair your product instead of offering you a replacement or refund. This is defined in the Australian Consumer Law.

Unless Australian Consumer Law requires us to pay for the costs of returning the goods to us, you will be responsible for this cost.

Please notify us of any damaged goods within 24 hours of receiving your products by emailing hello@mademade.com.au.

 

SHIPPING:

As a small business, we are still searching for the best couriers and rates for shipping. Being a small business we also do not have access to the same rates as large businesses so we are always happy to try and find the best option for you.

Do not hesitate to email us at hello@mademade.com.au if you find an alternative or better shipping rate than what we have provided.

For all courier packages items will be shipped within 5 days and delivered within 7 days of shipment, unless the courier informs otherwise. All local deliveries will be delivered within 5 working days, unless arranged otherwise with Made Made.

For areas between Byron Bay and Sunshine Coast, we are able to personally deliver larger items for a small fee – usually less than any courier rate available.

We are currently only able to deliver Australia-wide.

 

PRODUCT CARE: 

All of our rattan products are treated with a light coating of matte lacquer for protection against general use. Our items are all designed to be rustic and authentic – the small crevasses in the rattan can easily be cleaned with a soft brush or a soapy damp cloth. Our items are not designed for outdoor use however you can do so using your own discretion.

 

OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS:

In the unforeseen occurrence of one of our items being out of stock, Made Made will ensure to contact you immediately to offer a full refund or discuss options for an alternate item.

 

MISSING OR DAMAGED ORDERS:

Made Made will not be held liable for any items that go missing in transit or that are received by the customer damaged or no longer in its original condition. In this event, it is the responsibility of the consumer to deal with the appropriate courier that was used to follow up and/or claim compensation for the product.

Although we take our best care when packaging these products and choosing couriers, please keep in mind there is always a possibility of items broken in transit as once it leaves our hands, we cannot control how it is handled. We will not be liable for repairs, however, we are happy to point you in the direction of people that will be able to repair your items.

 

SALE ITEMS:

All items which are listed as clearance or sale items will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. If you have purchased an item that has been marked down due to a fault then this item may not be returned as faulty.
